Another school year has begun. Some of you are preparing to close out your high school career, and some of you are hoping to have an enjoyable sophomore or junior year. With a large freshmen class and a lot of students new to Kville how can we increase the amount pride our student body shows for this school? Please list and explain at least 2 things you'd like to see done at KHS to increase and show our school pride!
one thing that the we should do in order to show our pride for KHS is keep our school looking good by picking thrash up. Another thing that we can do is keeping our grades up because it will show that we love the education received at Kville
ReplyDeleteThe large amount of students at our school now, there should be a lot more school pride. In order to show school pride people need to talk highly about our school and not talk down on it. Students should go to more of the games, like football, volleyball, baseball etc. wearing orange and blue and cheer on our team. It'll help boost up the crowd and other people watching would see how we are to be a rocket. We should also work on doing our best on tests and quizzs to keep our scoring number higher than other schools, shows how well the students does and pays attention in their classes.
ReplyDeleteIn order to increase our school pride,the freshmen class should not be ostracized but encouraged to join clubs and after school activities. Study hard to keep our scores high in our test and exams,to show that we are serious about our education at K-Ville. Also by picking up the trash around our school and not throwing trash in the first place,along with supporting our fellow classmates in sporting events.
ReplyDeleteWays to show more school pride is to act the same with everyone, like picking on the freshmen. As upper class men, we should help them since its a new school and different from middle school. Also improving our grades will help a lot because we can be a top school in the state and others will see that our school is serious.

ReplyDeleteA couple ways that we could boost our school pride here at Kelloggsville would be to keep our school presentable. Not only as in picking up trash and making our school look good, but as in the behavior of the students. Another thing we could do to improve our K-Ville Pride is to get the incoming freshmen more involved by the upperclassmen encouraging them to participate.
ReplyDeleteEveryone should work hard and study hard. We are in the top 20s right now and we should keep going up. Finally, we should keep our school clean. That way, the school looks even better and the atmosphere of the school could be lifted up more.
ReplyDeleteI believe we could all work harder in school. We are doing so well in test scores. So why not do well in everything else? Even though 5% of the school cares about how well we did, we should still try.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I would like to see done to show more school pride is more people participating in spirit week. It is a fun way to show your school spirit! Another thing I would like to see done to show more school pride is keeping inside and around our school clean. If us students see trash somewhere in or around the school, we should pock it up.
ReplyDeleteThe main thing I would like to see are more pride assemblies. I feel if we have more of them people can feel more involved & more spirited. Another thing I would like to see is people getting out of their comfort zone with their friends & start letting new people into their lives. I believe this will lead to everyone become friends & people can meet new friends. :)
ReplyDeleteOur school this year has many more students than it did in the past, making school spirit and pride harder to spread amongst everyone than previously. It is really obvious that our school is very segregated. If we offered more classes to include students from every grade working together, we would feel more comfortable around each other and pride in Kelloggsville would greatly improve since we aren't all shy. Yes, there is rocket 30, but once a week isn't enough. Another thing our student body can do to show pride in our school is to embrace it. Wearing school colors and following the student handbook is a good way to keep all of our peers in line and checked. Also, the staff could help instill pride in the students by not being so boring and motivate them to strive to do better in the classroom.
ReplyDeleteTo build more school pride students should go to the football games and have a fun time there representing Kville. Also, the school should keep on painting around the hallways to show that our pride is progressing.
ReplyDeleteFor school pride students should participate in ALL the games that kville has or all the assembly activities. Making it a little more fun and interesting would increase school's pride, and if some of the freshmens think it's "wack"..well the sophmores-juniors & seniors need to show them how it's done around here beacause i honestly think that they will get useto it and actually enjoy participating. Also, the rocket30 helps alot with that!
ReplyDeleteSome ways that we can boost our school pride is that everyone in our school should respect our school because people think that kelloggsville is ''trashy'' or ''ghetto'' but were not. So I think people should have more consideration and respect and say good things about our school. Another thing we can do to boost up our pride is spiritually.More people should wear more orange and blue and go all out for spirit week.
ReplyDeleteI think we should have way more school pride then we have right now. With all the extra people that are school has gained this last year more people should be proud of Kelloggsville. We obviously are a good school if we've had many more people come here. But with that we should have more spirit, wear more orange and blue, go to more sporting events and after school activities. Also we should have more school pride assemblies. More people would start to actually want to come to school and enjoy it more. If we people keep having school pride, and actually coming to a school they enjoy they will probably pay more attention in class which could lead to better test scores, and more publicity to Kelloggsville. We can show people we are not a bad school.
ReplyDeleteTo increase the amount of Kville pride, the students must show more respect for our great school. That means keep it clean, and looking good. Let's keep our great example of no bullying continue. Students should also be thankful for WHAT WE HAVE and other schools do not. So all in all I'd like to see students show much more respect for our school, to make the better of us.
ReplyDeleteWe can alot more pride for our school by attending more event.Alot of students dont show up for school events but it will show alot more pride if they actually did.Another way is by showing respect for our school by representing kelloggsville inside of school and on school grounds as well as off school grounds.Little things like that will show that we have more pride in our school especially with the increasing amount of freshman((:
ReplyDeleteWith all of the new students and tons of freshmen in the highshool now, K-Ville should easily be able to increase pride. One thing we could do is instead of trashing our district and school, talk better about it. This way we can show everyone K-Ville isn't a bad school. Another thing we could do is get a lot more people to be involved in things such as participating in assemblies and have all grades be able to cope with eachother instead of being separated. Simple things can increase our K-Ville pride emensly if we try.
ReplyDeleteSome ways we could increase our school pride is by doing little things like; Volunteering more outside of school, participating in events, helping others etc. Since we got a lot of freshmen coming in this year, we can show them around, have talks with them to make them feel welcomed! Basically think on the outside instead of the inside all the time.
ReplyDeleteOne way the students of Kelloggsville could improve the pride of the school is by letting people know that Kelloggsville is a good school instaed of some talking bad about the school. Another way the students could improve pride is by keeping the school clean.
ReplyDeleteTo increase the pride in this school, I think that we should have more pride day assemblies. Instead of having our own group of friends, we should have come to gether and get to know one other. Kelloggsville is a really good school with so many students that are smart. And also, helping out the teachers and volunteering more can be one of ways that can make the school have more pride!

ReplyDeleteOne way I feel we could increase our school pride would be to have a sale on the merchandise within the school store. This would appeal to new students and freshman to make a purchase of a K-ville shirt or sweatshirt rather than if they were at full price.
ReplyDeleteAnother way I feel we could increase pride at KHS would be to have an extra spirit week regarding our school specifically, or to organize more pride assemblies. Thats just my two cents.
Ways we can increase our school pride would be have more pep assemblies or a big homecoming week. This would help students come together by celebrating school pride.

We can increase the amount of pride for this school by acting right and being respectful to one another. Also, students should definitely try to come out to sport games and cheer our teams on. This would show other people, who are unfamiliar to our school, that Kelloggsville is the place to be.
ReplyDeleteAll we need to do is just have a couple spirit weeks or maybe some assemblies focused around pride. Pretty much anything that gets everyone involved and is focused around pride will work.
ReplyDeleteWe can increase our school pride by having all the new freshman join clubs and sports, also we need to keep the school clean for any new vistors coming to K-ville to show we are a good/great school.
ReplyDeleteI think that more people around the school could help by cleaning up. There are more people so more people so there should be less trash. I also think that more people should be able to get friends or people to talk to. This should let people with less friends to get friends.
ReplyDeleteThe thing is we can't force people to be proud of our school. If they don't care now, they won't care ever.
ReplyDeleteLast time I remember, excelling in academics is individual achievement. I'd rather be proud of who I am as a person, rather than dressing in ridiculous colors and caring about something that won't matter in a couple years.
These are slowly going mainstream as we speak. Colleges all around the world are getting these. I think we could make cheaper things such as prosthetic limbs.
